a month ago5star Family oriented business we’ve ever been too. The food and desserts are Amazing ! A must try! My family and I love it here! The owner older gentleman was kind and friendly to us . He really loves his job we could tell. He made us feel relaxed and at home. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

2 months agoThe food and service are amazing. We have had several items and they are delicious and authentic. Lamb Gyro, Chicken Shawarma, Kofta Gyro, and Grape Leaves. I usually do not like Grape Leaves, but these are number one fantastic. Go check them out because the food will not disappoint you.

3 months agoI’ve had the distinct honor and pleasure of eating and shopping at this market over the past few weeks, and I’ll say this plainly—places like this are rare. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with genuine hospitality and respect. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. The service is solid every time, and it’s clear the people here take pride in their work and in serving the community the right way. In a city with several halal markets, this one stands apart. It reflects the tradition, quality, and standards you expect from a strong halal market. This place isn’t just a store—it’s a pillar in the community, and it shines.

4 months agoI have been in more times than I can count the last 6 years. The owners are kind and helpful. The baklava is unmatched and the coffee is the best in the Richmond area. The tabouli is great, the gyros, and the fried chicken is best around as well. You really can't go wrong stopping at this family owned and operated store. Get lunch, a latte, or to just try something new, you won't regret it!

4 months agoI was amazed by the food. Completely fresh and like you were eating at home. I will be coming down from Northern Virginia just to pick up groceries from here and their fresh hummus, tabouli, baba ghanoush, kebabs, etc. everything is so good. The owners are very nice and helpful also .

5 months agoI was doing some laundry next door and went for a walk looking for food when I noticed this cozy spot. I was torn between Mexican or this place and almost left, but the owner called out that their gyro was pretty good. I thought, ‘You know what, let’s do it—gyro it is!’ And I’m so happy I did! The food was absolutely great. The fries were different—different color, super crispy, just how I like them. And the gyro was fantastic—plenty of meat, thick-cut lamb. Not to mention, there’s plenty of goodies—from fresh meats (which truly look fresh!) to good pricing. There are lots of overseas snacks that are probably a whole lot better for you than that Reese’s bar at the corner store! I can’t believe I’ve lived in Richmond, Virginia, since 1992 and never heard of this spot! Please check them out—you won’t regret it!

5 months agoPlaced a catering order at this amazing market last week, food was fresh and everyone loved it! We got the chicken shawarma over rice and salad. The prices were super reasonable and service was efficient making it easy to place an order. Would definitely place an order here again.

10 months agoWonderful fresh food, great friendly staff and diverse selection of halal canned and grocery foods. This place was a favorite for my sister in college and my family comes for food every time they come to visit. Fair prices good portions and delicious! The subs are big and tasty; and the kabob and shawarma are amazing! My mom insists on stopping by every time she’s in Richmond.
